I had an amazing experience at Umami Restaurant! The seasonings on every dish were spot on, and the flavors were bold without being overpowering. The service was fast and friendly, especially Greta, who made sure we had everything we needed. My friend ordered the hot pot, and I had to try it—it was fantastic! We also had oysters and mussels that were out of this world—fresh and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious food and great service!
This restaurant is a hidden gem in plain sight. I've never dined in, but I am definitely going to so I can change the 3 Stars if needed. I have probably spent 500 dollars in the past 6 months here. I wish they had a loyalty program. Great food seasoned to perfection. Always fresh and delicious.
So glad we stopped here! It's hard to find good Japanese food in NC and this unagi don exceeded expectations. Shrimp & mussels were really tasty too, wish we lived closer
My son and I went the other day food was great cold have been some better size of crab legs but food was great seasoning amazing and service was good as well.
Went there this past Thursday. The outside looked a little sketchy but I still wanted to try it. When walking in, you Could smell the great aroma of seafood and spices. The man greeted us and we placed our order. The food came out and it was HOT!!! That was the best seafood bag I’ve had in a long time. I got crawfish, shrimp, and crab legs. They definitely gave me my moneys worth. I will be coming back. 10/10 recommend.

Okay, I knew about this place when it opens and I live in Goldsboro but the guy I'm dating lives in Durham so I'm always there. It was so pleasant to know that we have a seafood place in Goldsboro that was not only greatly priced but the crabs were stuffed with me, potatoes, eggs. The shrimp were ridiculously fat. I didn't like the the shrimp with the head on it, but I did it because I think the price to cut the head off was too much. So ultimately the shrimp itself almost went to waste because of the head and the bile and everything like that still in it. But the food the amount they give you for the price, the quality of the food, the taste of the seasoning. It was great. I highly recommend but if they store Price Gage and like everybody else don't go
